Invitation to Age Equality Consultation Event
The Department of Health (DH) launched a consultation on Age Equality in Health and Social Care on 23 November 2009 that invited interested parties to take part.
Four events have now been planned to increase opportunities for consultation involvement to enable the NHS local authorities and other stakeholders to contribute to this consultation and comment on the work in producing a resource pack to support local implementation. The DH would welcome interest from non-executive directors and members of professional and managerial staff, members of third and independent sector providers and representatives of the public and campaigning organisations.
The events will be held as follows:
- Monday, 8 January 2010 - Bristol
- Friday, 22 January 2010 - Birmingham
- Wednesday, 3 February 2010 - London
- Monday, 8 February 2010 - Leeds
